Welcome to Asbury United Methodist Church of Salisbury!

Our church has been part of this community since 1778. We are a church that strives to put our faith into action by sharing the good news of Christ in word and deed.

When you visit Asbury, you can expect to find worship in a variety of styles, where children and youth are celebrated and exceptional music is featured. Outside of worship, you'll find ways to deepen your faith through study and service. While Asbury may feel like a larger church, you will quickly find small group opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and discover your way to get involved, so that eventually Asbury will feel like home.

We hope that after visiting Asbury, you will know just how much God loves you, and that experience of love will lead you back into the world.

Weekend after Labor Day - Weekend before Memorial Day (Sep - May)

8:00am: Early Morning Asbury (EMA)
Join us for a reflective Traditional Service in the Sanctuary.

8:45am: Come As You Are (CAYR)
Join us for a casual service in the Fellowship Hall featuring Asbury’s Praise Band.

10:00am: Sunday School for all ages

11:00am: Festive
Join us for a Traditional Service in the Sanctuary featuring Asbury’s Chancel Choir.

Resources During Worship:

  • Nursery care is available for infants through age 8 in Room 122 during all worship services.

  • Accommodations are available in the Sanctuary for individuals with hearing loss.

  • Accessible entrances are available at entrances for both services.

  • CAYR and Festive services are available online via livestream - or watch on your own time.

Summer Schedule

Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend

8:45am: Garden Service
Join us in the Memorial Garden, accessible from the South parking lot, for a casual worship experience. In the case of inclement weather, this service will be held in Fellowship Hall.

10:00am: Festive
Join us for a Traditional service in the Sanctuary. Please note that the Festive services moves to the earlier time of 10am during the summer.

There is no Sunday School during the summer

We do still offer Nursery care in Room 122.
