Valentine's Party at Pine Bluff
Asbury’s Youth Group is giving Pine Bluff a Valentine’s Party!
The residents loved their Christmas celebration, so we want to spread the love for Valentine’s Day too!
All are invited! We will make a Valentine’s Day craft, share a snack, and play a musical game with the group.

Rehearsal: Living Stations of the Cross
Asbury middle and high school Students are invited to retell the story of Jesus’ journey to the cross.
We need youth to narrate, act, sing, and play musical instruments for this play to happen on Good Friday.

Lunch & Learn
Church & Society presents January’s Lunch & Learn!
Our first Lunch & Learn of the New Year will be held on Sunday, January 19, in the Mackey Room following the 11 am service.
Rev. Carmella Evans, pastor of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Fruitland, became the new Chaplain and executive director of the Wesley Foundation at Salisbury University this school year (succeeding Brooke Christensen).
Pastor Carm will talk about how Asbury and other area churches, including St. John’s UMC and Bethesda UMC, can work together to support the Wesley Foundation, and how we can better understand the needs, issues, and opportunities that exist on the SU campus.
As always, a light lunch will be provided beginning at 12:15 pm (free to all, voluntary donations only). A speaker presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Programs end by 1:45 pm. Everyone who would like to extend our time of fellowship and learn something new about our surrounding community is welcome!
RSVP’s are not required, but do help us estimate lunch needs. You can email Sheri Burchard at sheri@asburyweb.org.

All middle and high school students are invited to serve lunch at the Christian Shelter.
We will meet at the Christian Shelter at 11:30 to prepare the lunch and serve it.

One Combined Worship Service
Today we will be joining together in one combined worship service!
This special service will take place in Fellowship Hall at 10am.
Please note that this is the only service for today.

This service is the Traditional service mirrored after our Festive Sunday Service in its style.

This service is the Family service. The earlier timing is suitable for families with young children.
Our children’s choirs also tend to share their music at this service.

CAYR Soundboard Training
CAYR could use your help!
In the back of every CAYR service, is someone running the soundboard to help ensure mics are working, the praise band is balanced, and those worshipping are able to hear every part of the service.
Many hands-ears?- make light work, and we’d love for anyone interested in running sound to join us today for some training!
Can you commit to running sound once a month? More? What about just being on stand-by in case?
It’s always helpful to have a sound team available to help.
If you feel called to help with sound, come to the Fellowship Hall at 1pm today for training on the soundboard!

Church & Society is sponsoring a gathering to assemble Flood Buckets for Disaster Relief.
All are welcome to help!
